November is a busy month on the Island of Bermuda, beginning with the 36th annual Rugby Classic Tournament with participation from teams representing Bermuda, USA, Argentina, Canada, Ireland, South Africa, France and of course the Classic Lions.

The week of the Classics is a great time to visit Bermuda as the island is buzzing with the excitement the tournament creates. Over 7,000 guests are entertained with a combination of great sport and hospitality.

The (re)insurance market is a strong supporter and sponsor of the tournament, entertaining guests in the large tents and classic pods.

The Rugby draws visitors to the island and ensures that much of the (re)insurance market remains ‘on island’ for the event. brandformula finds it the perfect time to visit and meet with our clients and industry partners to enjoy all the week's offers.

Business Development Director Rob Hughes was on the Island with our local Business Development Consultant Helen Souza. A packed diary of client meetings presented some interesting topics of discussion.

Many reinsurance companies are becoming even more aware that company culture is key to ensuring that the best talent can be attracted and retained. Fostering the right environment to nurture staff and to develop their skills is of utmost importance, with talent looking to match with the right values and ethos of a business when seeking a new role.

brandformula has been developing solutions for this, in some instances highlighting Culture in marketing activities has equalled the importance of traditional product marketing. To learn more about this please get in touch with Rob.
